Hey y’all.I hope everyone is safe.Before I begin with the actual part of the article, I would request all of you to be safe and keep your loved ones safe because the situation we currently are in is quite critical and serious.The world is slowly giving up hope just when we have to start building up more of it.Please spread positivity and hope around you because that is exactly what the world needs at this point of time.
Stay indoors and try not to go out as much as possible.If there is any dire necessity then, please use masks,gloves and sanitizers when you leave home.So please, you guys, stay safe and take this situation seriously and not as a joke.

ITS QUARAN”TIME”
Everyone has a daily routine-get up,get ready,go to your workplace or school,get back,sleep.This is what most of us have been doing in life for a really long time and now all of a sudden, we are asked to stay at home the whole time!
This change came as a boon to all of us,at first.But now that we have been into this quarantine thing for quite sometime,everyone is getting bored of staying at home.I guess this is human tendency because everyone dreaded going out but now that we have the chance to do it(perhaps,the only thing we have to do now is stay at home), we are complaining XD.
All the interesting places in the city are closed.The whole city is under lock down.No malls,no cinema halls,no playgrounds,literally nothing but your own homes.This can turn out in two ways-you can either complain about your situation for the whole day OR you can utilise all this “free time” and enjoy this period!
There are a lot of things that I love to do but unfortunately, most of these things are things you do outdoors. But there definitely are a few other things that I can do at home and so can you!!
1)GET UP AND MOVEEEEEEEE

Working out is very important when you are stranded at home because you have nowhere else to go and all you do is sit at home and binge watch your favourite shows while munching on some junk;)
I love to work out even on other normal days cause it keeps you fresh and mentally stable.There are a few youtube fitness videos which I love and I’m linking it here.(Believe me,it’s really fun.Try it out)

2)LET’S GET A LIL “COOKIE”
Eating outside is so not advisable during a pandemic.We can tell this to minds and not our tongues XD.But babe,I have my birthday coming up and dam,all these stores are closed and where am I going to get a cake???
This is my problem but there are a whole bunch of foodies out there who miss EVERYTHING, biscuits,candies,chips,pizzas….Here’s an idea-LET’S BAKE.
I’m not one i-wanna-eat-i-will-make-something kind of a person but now,that’s all I can do.So,I have plans of baking cup cakes,whenever I do,I’ll put it up on my story @suchithashekar(instagram).
3)”You let it out, honey.. put it in the book.”
Our very own Gretchen Weiners(from mean girls) has given this advice.Take a book,a pen and start writing everything you are feeling.This is not a myth, people.I have tried this and this really works.If you are really bored and are on the verge of entering a massive mood swing then,write whatever you are feeling.You can also pen down a poem,a song or even draw something.This is truely magical, how you feel so full of energy after writing your thoughts down in a book!
With this tip, comes another tip.Read a book.Yes,you guys,read a book.I love reading books and this keeps me quite occupied when I’m bored.

4)GET A LIL HANDY
Do you guys remember arts and crafts from school?
I bet you do.Along with that, try to remember how happy you would feel when you made something and how you would run home to show it to your mom.
You can do that now.It’s now or never.You have the opportunity to travel back in time and make something all by yourself.

5)”COME ON, COME ON,TURN THE RADIO ON”
Music gives flight to your imagination and life to everything.Be it be listening to songs or making your own music, you can’t tell how time passes by when you are into music.This is not only a nice way to pass your time but this also gives you positive vibes!

6)NETFLIX AND CHILL
Netflix has legit become that one thing that’s keeping all of us in our senses nowadays.When there is nothing at all to do, subscribe to netflix,there are a gazillion movies and shows to choose from. But yeah,dont get stuck to your phones after you get netflix 😉
(I watched this movie called Forrest Gump and it was amazing.If you haven’t watched it yet then please do watch it)

7)”MY SMILE IS BEAMIN’,MY SKIN IS GLEAMIN’ “
Last but not the least,self care.It’s never not the time for a nice face mask, is it?XD
All the girls out there,did you ever believe that one day , you can sit there with rollers in your hair,face mask on your face and doing your nails and not being screamed at for not going out?I KNOW,RIGHT?
And to all the boys,I have no idea what your idea of self care is but, bro, you have a lot of time to do it now.XD
Not only do we have time for materialistic self care but we also have time for working on our mental health which is also a very important aspect of self care.So yeah, you can meditate with light music on and this is really relaxing.Try it.
Go ahead and pamper yourself cause you ain’t getting this time back!
